     Esther Georgeson was baptized on 16 Feb 1766 in Kirk, Bower, CAI, SCT; IGI has 3 entries (all patron submissions) which have her as Esther or Easter and chr 16 Feb 1766 or 16 Feb 1765. The p/copy of the entry is indistinct, but further up the page is a Jan 1766 entry, so I've assumed Feb 16th 1766 and that the entry reads: Feby 16 Donald Georgeson in Kirk had by his wife Esther Miller a child baptized called Esther Wit: David Manson and John Stephen.2,4 She and William Smith were estimated to have married aft. 1794 probably in the ?Par. of Watten, CAI, SCT, as their eldest known son, born 1794, was illegitimate.5
     Esther Georgeson died aft. 1841 ?Wick, CAI, SCT.6 Esther was not indexed as buried CAI, SCT, in Bower, Watten or Wick Old cemeteries.
     
     The census of 7 Jun 1841 showed Esther Smith in the household of her dtr Janet and her husband William Davidson and their daughters Jean, Esther, Jannet and Ann and their sons John and Daniel in Kinnaird St, Wick, CAI, SCT, enumerated as DAVIDSON: William 35; Jannet 30; John 12; Easter 10; Jean 8; Jannet 5; Daniel 1; Ann 4m. SMITH: Easter 70 (Janet's mother, Esther).7,6
