All the other info

Sarah is my 2nd link with the Toop family. Back in Feb 2006 I added Sampson Toop to the family tree via his marriage to Emma Bidgood, dtr of Joan Smith Dawe. So when Robert popped up as well I went fishing to see if they were connected. They are - uncle/nephew. And then in Aug 2008 I caught up with the marriage between John Toop and Sarah Willcock, dtr of Ann Barter. Which makes all the Toop descendants distant relations on the Barter tree, and Sarah Ann and Robert John as 1st, 3rd and 5th cousins.12 Sarah Ann Toop is possibly the witness to the marriage of Richard Hamley and Hetty Toop on 20 Apr 1926 Par. Ch, Buckland Monachorum, Dist of Tavistock, DEV, ENG.13,14,15

E. & O. E. Some/most parish records are rather hard to read and names, places hard to interpret, particularly if you are unfamiliar with an area.
