BMDB data

Sarah Parker (T2b4a) was born cir. Aug 1767 Ashdon, ESS, ENG.4 She was baptized on 9 Aug 1767 at Ashdon, Essex; entry in 1767 reads Aug 9 Sarah D. of Robert & Jane Parker.3
Sarah Parker (T2b4a) married James Tyrell on 7 Jul 1793 St Mary the Virgin, Saffron Walden, ESS, ENG, undated entry, assumed to be 7 days after the 3rd publication of banns in the Saffron Walden Banns register shows
Banns of marriage between James Tyrrell & Sarah Parker b.o.t.p. were Published in this church on Sundays June 16th, 23rd & 30th by me ?W Gretton?; James signed, Sarah X her mark; Wit.: Philip Darnell, Richard Bush (who both signed all on page); George Smith X his mark who also signed the following.
Entries on the page are not in date order but married: 16 Apr; 21 May; 20 May; 21 Jul; 6 Aug (banns May 19th 26th Jun 2nd); 16 Jun (banns May 26, Jun 2, 9th); James/Sarah; 18th Aug (banns Jul 28 Aug 4, 11).5
Sarah Parker (T2b4a) died cir. May 1852 Saffron Walden, ESS, ENG.6 She was buried on 5 May 1852 Saffron Walden, ESS, Sarah Tyrell, aged 86.6
The admittedly small set of DNA matches that led me to re-evaluate Jemima Parker's origins, also led me to believe that the new mother found for Jemima seems highly likely to be one and the same Sarah Parker who later married James Tyrrell.

Ashdon is very near to Saffron Walden, Jemima's 1788 baptism is in Saffron Walden, which is where a Sarah married James Tyrell in 1793.
Proximity and opportunity seem too good to miss given Jemima's death cert. says she was born there.

There's a mitochondrial DNA kit with your name on if you are a direct female line descendant of Sarah Tyrell nee Parker.
Please use the contact link in the footer if you think you may qualify.
A haplogroup mis-match to me will disprove it, a match will add weight, which hopefully more autosomal DNA matches from any descendants of either Sarah will clinch, eventually.
Research to date however indicates there may not be many candidates available.7,4,1

E. & O. E. Some/most parish records are rather hard to read and names, places hard to interpret, particularly if you are unfamiliar with an area.
