This James Junken who married Janet McGomrey 1737 Port of Menteith cannot be the same James Junkin who married Christian McEwan (1734 Kincardine).
Although there is no more specific place than Kincardine on the baptism of James and Christian's son Williiam in 1737, and the next baptism in Kincardine (Alexander 1743) has no mother indexed, she seems likely to be Christian McEwan.
This would make the families overlap.⁴
