(possibly Backlass? but that would be Watten Par.) had a child by his wife Christan Young baptised and named Helen. Witn: James Manson Coghill, Parish of Watten (assumed to be father William's brother) and James San--(?Sandison) in Winless?1,2

Census/Where lived/Occupations

     Helen Manson was not found in the census of 1841 CAI, SCT, the only Hellen/Helen/Ellen of anything like the right age was married to Alexander, this Helen's brother.3
