     Thirza Rowe died on 1 Mar 1883 Dundas, Wentworth Co, ONT, CAN; cert shows Thirza as aged 3 yrs, 5mths, born Town of Dundas, C of England, father Joseph Rowe, Taven Keeper of Dundas; died of typhoid fever, 4 weeks, this being 2 weeks after her mother died of childbirth complications.3

     The census of 1880 showed Margaret and Thursey and their brother Joseph in the household of their parents Joseph and Ellen Rowe Maryland St (55), Buffalo, Erie Co., NY, USA, enumerated as ROWE: Joseph 28, carpenter, b ENG as were both parents; wife Ellen, 29, b Canada, parents both b Ireland; Children (all b Canada marked as at home and can't read or write!): Joseph, 5, Margaret, 3, Thursey, 8mths (b Nov) (their soujourn in the States can't have been longer than from Oct 1879 to Feb 1883 as children were born in Dundas, Ontario in those months.)4,2
