Christian Manson was born in Winless, Par. of Wick, CAI, SCT.1 She was christened on 8 May 1815 in the Par. of Wick, CAI, SCT; Entry reads: 8 May 1815 William Manson in Winless had by his wife Christian Young a daur baptised and named Christian. Witn: James Sandison of Winless and Wm Stiven? of Killimster. IGI: Christian, d/o Willm Manson and Christian Young.2,1
Christian Manson was not found in the census of 1841 CAI, SCT, as Manson, but may have married.3 She was not found in the census of 1881 in CAI, SCT, unless she was one of the following: ?Christina Auld, b Wick, mar. to Alexander, with a sons George and William living Bower (this was from age, birthplace and name of sons, but there were no Auld/Manson marriages found in my igi download); another possibility was a Christina Bain, widow, with sons George, William, Alexander, dtr Christina, but it would appear that this one's maiden name was also Bain, not Manson. None of the others looked immediately obviously matches for Christian.4

E. & O. E. Some/most parish records are rather hard to read and names, places hard to interpret, particularly if you are unfamiliar with an area.
