Anyone know what happened to Jeany after 1845?
Dtr Jessie was living with her grandmother and several aunts and uncles in 1841.

NB several online trees show dtr Jessie's father as Andrew ORMISTON, having believed Jessie's marr. cert, instead of also checking her baptism, which clearly shows her father as Robert ORMISTON of Gattonside (Melrose.)⁵

This being assumed to be this Jean(y), as it is where the future father of her dtr Jessie was in 1841 (NB enumerators were instructed to round ages down to the nearest multiple of 5.)⁶
