FatherRobert Carrick2 (say 1715 - )
MotherMargaret Carrick3 (say 1720 - )

Intro

One of two Janet CARRICKs having children (overlapping) in Kippen 1760s to 1780s.
One maried William CHRISTALL in 1763, the other married Robert HUTTON in 1771.
At least two trees (one a CHRYSTAL, the other a HUTTON) both claim their respective Janet as the daughter of Andrew CARRICK and Margaret ANDERSON
The Janet married to Robert HUTTON has a 2nd son name Robert and a first daughter names Margaret, and there's a handy baptism around the right time and place for that to fit, albeit only shown as Robert CARRICK and __ CARRICK, but a later child in what looks to be the same family shows his mother as Margaret CARRICK.4

E. & O. E. Some/most parish records are rather hard to read and names, places hard to interpret, particularly if you are unfamiliar with an area.
