BMDB data

Jane McNee was born cir. 1818 Thornhill, Par. of Kincardine by Doune, PER, SCT, (1851 census.)5 Some sources show Jane as born cir. 1815 at Thornhill, Perthshire, which would fit in a gap between the recorded children of Robert McNee and Catherine McAlpin - and match age at death.6,7
Jane McNee married Peter Junkine, son of John Junkine and Johanna Graham, on 4 Jun 1836 Drymen, STI, SCT, entry in Drymen OPR reads: "Peter Jinkins mason in the Village and Parish of Bonhill, and Jane, daughter of Robert McNee, miller at Cardross of Port presently in this Parish, listed for proclamation of banns this 4th day of June 1836 and were married"
Also indexed in Bonhill OPR.1,6

So which of these families is the connection to either James HENDERSON or Amelia MILLAR?
DNA matches between descendants of two of the children of Peter JENKINS and Jane McNIE, to several descendants of James and Amelia, tells us that there is a definite common ancestor somewhere in the past.
Love to hear from descendants of either their JENKINS or McNIE/McNEE ancestry to help pinpoint this as this is highly likely to be a chip at a brickwall.9

E. & O. E. Some/most parish records are rather hard to read and names, places hard to interpret, particularly if you are unfamiliar with an area.
