Wills/bequests

Adam Richardson Bridge St Row (43), Chester, CHS, ENG, wrote a will on 11 Mar 1907 A most uninformative will with regard to naming relations! Adam left an annuity of £156 to his sister-in-law Anderina Thompson "at present managing my house", to be paid in weekly instalments of £3, the rest of his estate to his solicitor and tailor Robert WALLACE of Foregate St, Chester "in trust for the person or persons who at my death under the Statues for the distribution of the personal effects of intestates would be entitled to my personal estate on my death intestate such persons if more than one to take in the proportion prescribed by the same statues".
Not sure how many of his siblings would still be alive in 1908, but as the estate was valued at some £11,000 I do so hope the solicitors tried to find the nieces and nephews.15 His estate was probated on 7 Aug 1908 Chester, CHS, ENG; index shows Adam d. 26 March, a musical instrument dealer & music seller of Bridge St Mow (sic), Chester. Probate to William Arthur Vere CHURTON, solicitor & Robert WALLACE, tailor. Effects £11409/14/8d resworn to £11129/14/8d.9

E. & O. E. Some/most parish records are rather hard to read and names, places hard to interpret, particularly if you are unfamiliar with an area.
