Agnes has been chosen to show in these pages because her husband's brother James Mabon also married a Fairbairn descendant, Isabella, the granddaughter of John Fairbairn and Alice Ainslie. This John, and Agnes' grandfather Walter FAIRBAIRN, were both born Swinton, Berwickshire around the same timeframes. Any relationship however is pure conjecture.8
