Dun and Donald Sandison in South Dun" (day at edge of page and not legible on film, next entry is 15th May - this assumes correct identification that this is the Donald who later married Janet Sutherland).^3,2
     Donald Gray married Janet Sutherland on 17 Aug 1781 in the Par. of Halkirk, CAI, SCT, (no sign of an entry around this date in Watten OPR).^4,5,6
     Donald Gray died bef. 1863 probably at ?Sibster, CAI, SCT.⁴
     Fr Sep 1785 - Jun 1787 Donald Gray and Janet Sutherland were living at Toftingall, Watten, CAI, SCT.^7,8 Donald Gray was described as a farmer, dec, on dtr Janet's dth cert in 1863.⁴
