, entry reads: "Mr Richard Peek of this Parish and Mrs Elizabeth Algar of Newton Ferrers were married by license", however my interpretation of "Mrs" has been cast into doubt by further identification of her family. Either it's an honorific Mrs, or it's Miss. Alternate views welcome.^4,5,6,7,1
Elizabeth Peek was assumed to have died cir. Apr 1763 ?Walkhampton, DEV, ENG, assuming this burial is this Elizabeth.⁸ She was buried on 11 Apr 1763 Walkhampton, DEV

, index merely shows an Elizabeth Peek, no age, but as April is a mere 3 mths after the baptism of son William, I 've jumped to conclusions that this is the right Elizabeth, reinforced by her not being mentioned with two of her siblings in her brother Samuel's 1784 will.^8,9
