     Walter Richardson was born on 1 May 1776 at Whitelaw, Rutherford, ROX, SCT, "Walter Richardson, son to Robert Richardson smith in Rutherford Whitelaw and his wife Margaret Runchaman was born the first of May and baptised seventh said month in the year 1776."1 He was christened on 7 May 1776 at Maxton, ROX, SCT.1
     Walter Richardson died in Nov 1791 at Maxton, ROX, SCT, at age 15.2 He was buried on 25 Nov 1791 at Maxton, ROX, SCT, Walter Richardson son of Robert Richardson smith in Maxton was this day buried in Maxton Kirk yard (Nov 25 1791).2
