; Entry for 10 Jul 1751 reads: Donald Gray in Houstry presented a child to be baptized begat there in fornication betwixt him and Kathrin Morgan called John Witnesses Hugh S(..)son in Sth Dun and David Sutherland in Back(lass). IGI entry has him as John Gray or Morgan (presumably because of the short time between marriage and John's christening and the f word in the entry, even though by this time Kathrin and Donald are married.)^1,2
John Gray was estimated to have died bet. 1751 - 1756 ?Par. of Watten, CAI, SCT, (assumed from baptism of the 2nd John.)^2,3
