     William Runciman married Mary Ann Hill on 20 Feb 1798 St Bride, Fleet St, London City, LND, ENG, entry reads: William RUNCIMAN of this parish, widower, Mary Ann HILL spinster of the same, marr. by licence, both signed; Wit: James HILL, M WHITE.8,9,10
     William Runciman died in Apr 1803 Shoe Lane (30), St Bride's Fleet St, LND, ENG.11 He was buried on 28 Apr 1803 St Andrew, Holborn, MDX, ENG, entry shows William RUNCIMAN as "from St Bride's". St Andrew's appears to be just by Holborn Circus, with Shoe Lane one of the streets running behind it (from Fleet St) The Congregational Church being currently numbered 49-51 Shoe Lane - which may mean that William and family lived directly opposite.11,12
     As of Feb 2012, the missing piece of the Michigan jigsaw, has finally been found.13

Although the thrice married William is not found with an age to fully verify he is the William born 1756 to John and Elizabeth (Familton) Runciman, we do have a 1757 baptism for his first wife Elizabeth Campbell Millington, and the assumption is that he is of an age, which fits very nicely.14,15,10,16,8,17,5,18,19,13

     By May 1784 William Runciman was living in the Par. of St Anne's, Westminster, LND, ENG.17 He was a baker in 1790 Shoe Lane (30), St Bride's Fleet St, LND, ENG.15 He was a baker (not stated as dec.) according to son John's dth cert. in Jun 1866.1

I William Runciman of Shoe Lane London baker being weak and infirm in body but through divine ?? of sound Mind Memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament that is to say to give and bequeath to my late wife's brother Draper Brewman of the City ?? This will was proven London the twenty ninth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four before the worshipful George Olgivie Doctor of Law Surrogate of ?? & Honourable Sir William Wy?? Knight also Doctor of Said Master Keeper of Commissary of the prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Mary Ann Runciman widow the relict of the deceased and the sole executrix named in the said will to whom Administration of all and Singular ? Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased was granted having been first sworn duly to adminstering.20

     William outlived his wife Mary Brewman who died in Mar 1797.6 On 1 May 1793 Shoe Lane (30), St Bride's Fleet St, LND, ENG, William Runciman baker, is shown as holding the lease, 18 years unexpired when the "Freehold Estate" was for sale. "One substantial, modern, well-built Brick DWELLING HOUSE, four stories high, two good Rooms on a floor, neat Shop, roomy Warehouses, large Oven, and other conveniences. In the occupation of Mr William Runciman, baker" ... "18 years unexpired at Christmas next, at a very low rent of 20l per annum.
May be viewed by leave of the tenant, particulars may be had on the premises, the place of sale, and of the Auctioneers, No. 66 Chiswell-street Moorfields."22
